The room was brand new with nice amenities like a safe box, minibar, and coffee/tea makers.

The weather was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful we had turn down service every night There was also a courtesy bus laid on so you can get into town, the pool area was nice and quiet, we liked all the stairs it kept us fit. The private beach was lovely but can get a bit noisy with the mobile phones and the boards move when someone walks by, sea was lovely, the view was stunning could'nt get enough of it.

There were a lot of bugs that kepted on coming in our room it was like something out of evolution you were frightend to open a cupboard in case something jumped out at you, and no they were not just gnats, ants or flys, we had giant millepedes that must of been on steriods, spiders and big wood lice. The bed was too hard which were twins put together,when I booked I did ask for double, no singles and No Gaps the pillows were to hard and the shower was useless, oh and girls bring a hairdryer and a travel kettle as there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. There was'nt a safe in the room you have to use safe deposit box in reception. I think the room was sub-standard for what we paid, but on the other hand we will go back but will book direct so we get exactly what we want. The room that we stayed in (707) classic double only had a small balcony you felt a bit to close to your neighbours.could have done with a bigger room. We were not keen on the continental breakfast it does become a bit samey after a while but there was plenty to choose from if you like that kind of thing.........

The room was good sized and extremely pleasant and had exceptional views of the town. I liked the beds, they were comfy, and how friendly the staff was.

Hotel Le Agavi is a family owned 5* hotel set in the most unbelievable location. No brochure / review / could possibly do it justice - you just have to go and find out for yourself! Yes this is the south of Italy, so any Hotel is going to be a different type of experience to that of somewhere like Dubai or major cosmopolitan resort - but this hotel exceeds all expectations. The staff are attentive and extremely helpful, rooms are clean and have the most wonderful views on the planet - you look across to Positano and .... wow! The restaurant completes the experience - stunning view, extremely high quality food and great service - what more could you ask for.

It's a private hotel with attentive staff and spectacular views of sea. The property's restaurant is magnificent for dinner.

The hotel is very clean and the staff goes above and beyond to assist guests, plus the location offers stunning views from a cliff overlooking the sea.

The staff was incredibly helpful. Almost everyone could help us in English. The views from every where on the hotel premises were breathtaking. The food served in the hotel restaurant was outstanding.

The staff were so friendlly and hard working. We made friends with the Shuttle driver Rafaelle - he was the nicest person we met on our 2 week trip. The way the hotel is designed is asolutely breathtaking and amazing. You feel like you are in this beatiful enormous garden way up on the mountain. The views are magnificent and the way the hotel is built into the mountain is indescribable. You feel in touch with Mother Nature and it is very romantic. We had a huge terrace that overlooked the city of Positano. My boyfriend and I just sat on our lounge chairs on the terrace everyday just admiring the beautiful view of Positano. No hotel has a view like Le Agavi - and it was worth every penny. We would definitely go back and stay at this hotel - everything was perfect!

The decorations in the room are slightly outdated, but if you are looking to get a real feel for Italy, than there is absolutley nothing I could say I did not like.

The hotel is located in the center of town, making it convenient to access the beach at sea level. Guests can easily walk to Positano beach, which is just a short distance away. The rooms are well-appointed and offer stunning views of the surroundings. The service at the hotel is exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist guests. The breakfast selection is fantastic, with a wide variety of high-quality food options to choose from.

It would be better if the hotel had a larger pool area with more chairs available for guests to relax and enjoy the stunning views.

Private beach, location, lift and funiculare to the beach, free shuttle bus to Positano

The hotel is very well located, around 1,5 km from the Center of Positano. You can use the shuttle provided by the hotel without any charges. The view from the room is breathtaking. The employees are very polite and helpful. The cleanliness is perfect.The restaurant serves excellent meals. The private beach is very nice with a good restaurant. We will surely come back one day.

There is no safebox in the room. The internet and parking charges could be easily included in the room charges.
