fine views and proximity to charming local attractions
during my stay, I was amazed by the amazing views of Positano from my suite and enjoyed relaxing by the pool, which reminded me of a slice of paradise, making it the perfect base for exploring nearby Church of Santa Maria Assunta, only a 15-minute walk away, and the Roman Archeological Museum just a bit further.

All the details, none of the fluff
Amazing views and a fine pool area. The Michelin-starred restaurant was so good. While the shuttle service had some timing issues, the room decor and space were immaculate. A lemon tree outside my suite added a special charm. A little piece of paradise!

The room was good sized and extremely pleasant and had exceptional views of the town. I liked the beds, they were comfy, and how friendly the staff was.

The weather was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful we had turn down service every night There was also a courtesy bus laid on so you can get into town, the pool area was nice and quiet, we liked all the stairs it kept us fit. The private beach was lovely but can get a bit noisy with the mobile phones and the boards move when someone walks by, sea was lovely, the view was stunning could'nt get enough of it.
There were a lot of bugs that kepted on coming in our room it was like something out of evolution you were frightend to open a cupboard in case something jumped out at you, and no they were not just gnats, ants or flys, we had giant millepedes that must of been on steriods, spiders and big wood lice. The bed was too hard which were twins put together, when I booked I did ask for double, no singles and No Gaps the pillows were to hard and the shower was useless, oh and girls bring a hairdryer and a travel kettle as there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. There was'nt a safe in the room you have to use safe deposit box in reception. I think the room was sub-standard for what we paid, but on the other hand we will go back but will book direct so we get exactly what we want. The room that we stayed in (707) classic double only had a small balcony you felt a bit to close to your neighbours.could have done with a bigger room. We were not keen on the continental breakfast it does become a bit samey after a while but there was plenty to choose from if you like that kind of thing.........

Hotel Le Agavi is a family owned 5* hotel set in the most unbelievable location. No brochure / review / could possibly do it justice - you just have to go and find out for yourself! Yes this is the south of Italy, so any Hotel is going to be a different type of experience to that of somewhere like Dubai or major cosmopolitan resort - but this hotel exceeds all expectations. The staff are attentive and extremely helpful, rooms are clean and have the most wonderful views on the planet - you look across to Positano and .... wow! The restaurant completes the experience - stunning view, extremely high quality food and great service - what more could you ask for.

I stayed in a suite with a terrace and sea view. The stunning views and very nice spa were highlights, but the room service charge felt excessive. I'd definitely return!

Amazing views and really good service
I stayed in a Junior Suite with Terrace and Sea View for 4 nights, and the experience was amazing. The panoramic views from my private terrace were amazing, and the staff were really nice-especially Christian, who arranged a private boat for us. While the beach club was a bit too quiet for my taste, the Michelin-starred restaurant offered an lovely dining experience with really good food.

Beds are very firm. The restaurant was overpriced.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
Every moment spent there was pure magic. The views literally take your breath away-can you imagine sipping coffee on your private balcony while watching the sun rise over the Amalfi Coast? And let's not forget the breakfast-gourmet dishes served with live music and that magnificent view? I mean, can mornings get any better?
